Public Consultation for Azilda Wastewater Treatment

Feb 4, 2016

The City of Greater Sudbury is conducting a Municipal Class Environment Assessment to evaluate options to upgrade the Azilda Wastewater System and/or to expand its treatment capacity to meet future demands of the community. Citizens are invited to ask questions and to provide input during an open house on Wednesday, February 10, anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Dr. Edgar Leclair Community Centre, 158 St. Agnes Street, Azilda.

The objective of this phase of the Class EA study is to identify the preferred option to address a 20 year planning period for the community of Azilda. Public input is a key component of this study as it can assist the City with additional information and help in the evaluation of options.

Project updates and notices will be posted on the City’s website at www.greatersudbury.ca/wastewater.
