Fresh Cabbage, Broccoli, and New Wheels Available at The Market this Weekend!

Aug 18, 2016

The reasons to shop at The Market are as simple as the food we sell. Shopping at The Market is a way to support the community by purchasing quality food from local vendors in a fun and friendly atmosphere!

This weekend at The Market, it’s vegetables galore! Stop by to pick up some fresh local broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage.

Round out your shopping with our sweet corn. Yes, this seasonal favorite is still available and it’s getting sweeter by the week! Paired with the new potatoes we are also featuring, you’ll have a meal that’s hearty and healthy in no time.

What could be better than new potatoes? New Wheels! The Market will be hosting a children’s bike exchange on Sunday, August 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where kids can trade in their outgrown bike for a gently used one in a size made just for them!

Families who do not have bicycles to trade in may receive a bike by making a token donation to help support the bike exchange project and the bicycles will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

The Market is your destination for fresh air and fresh food this season. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh local produce, unique gift ideas and much more. The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
