Deadline Approaching for Immigration and Municipal Heritage Advisory Panels

Citizens with an interest in advising and assisting Greater Sudbury Council are reminded that the deadline to submit applications for the Newcomer, Refugee and Immigration Advisory Panel and the Municipal Heritage Advisory Panel is Friday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m. Citizens are invited to apply online at www.greatersudbury.ca/advisorypanels or at their nearest Citizen Service Centre.

The Newcomer, Refugee and Immigration Advisory Panel will appoint one citizen to represent immigrant youth and one citizen to represent immigrant business owners. The Municipal Heritage Advisory Panel will appoint one citizen with knowledge of the Ontario Heritage Act.

Applicants must reside in the City of Greater Sudbury, be an owner or tenant or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land in the City of Greater Sudbury, a Canadian Citizen and at least 18 years old.
