Citizens Invited to Apply for Immigration and Municipal Heritage Advisory Panels

Greater Sudbury Council is seeking applications for appointment to its Newcomer, Refugee and Immigration Advisory Panel and Municipal Heritage Advisory Panel. Citizens are invited to apply online at www.greatersudbury.ca/advisorypanels or at their nearest Citizen Service Centre. Deadline for submission is Friday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m.

One citizen representing immigrant youth and one citizen representing immigrant business owners are sought for the Newcomer, Refugee and Immigration Advisory Panel to provide advice to Council on planning, decision making and strengthening support for these groups in the City of Greater Sudbury.

One citizen with knowledge of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990 C. 018 is sought for appointment to the Municipal Heritage Advisory Panel to advise and assist Council on matters relating to Parts IV and V of the Act.

Applicants must reside in the City of Greater Sudbury, be an owner or tenant or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land in the City of Greater Sudbury, a Canadian Citizen and at least 18 years old.
