Traffic Update-September 11

*Revised Date* Highway 69 North (MR 80): Paving operations at the intersection of Highway 69 North (MR 80) in Val Caron at Main Street will take place starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 13, until 7 p.m. Police will be on site, directing traffic.

Elgin Street/Beech Street: Work on the Elgin Street/Beech Street intersection continues on Monday, September 14 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Access to Elgin Street, north of Beech Street, will be maintained. Local traffic on Elgin Street, south of Beech Street to the north side of Elm Street, will be permitted. Police will be on site, directing traffic.

MR 55: Road improvements continue on Old Hwy 17 from McCharles Lake Road to 1.6 km East, and Simon Lake Road to the bridge at Eve Street and the construction of a left turn lane at Reserve Road and paving operations on Reserve Road from MR 55 to the bridge. A minimum of one lane of traffic at all times will be maintained and work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Blasting operations may cause extended traffic delays.

*Reminder* Notre Dame Avenue, Sudbury: Repairs to the railway tracks will close Notre Dame Avenue in Sudbury between the tracks and Wilma Street, starting at 4 a.m. Saturday, September 12. Detour signs will be posted at Wilma Street and Cambrian Heights Drive. Businesses should not be affected by the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained. The road is expected to reopen before morning traffic starts on Monday, September 14.
