Traffic Update for August 7

Elgin Street, Sudbury: Work on Elgin Street at Elm Street will begin on August 10, starting at 7 a.m. to complete underground construction and road restoration. Starting Monday, access to Elgin Street, north of Elm Street will be closed for three weeks. During this time, Elm Street will have one lane open to traffic. Day and night work will take place on August 10 to August 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On August 12 to August 14 and August 16 to 17, work will take place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Police will be on site during night work to assist with traffic control.

The South half of Grey Street from Grey Lane to Elgin Street will be closed from 6 a.m., Saturday, August 8 to 6 p.m. August 9 for the Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival.

Pioneer construction will be conducting paving work on the Kingsway from the Nissan dealership to Paris Street, from Monday August 10 to Friday August 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. One lane will be open in each direction on the east and west lanes.
