Traffic Update - April 22, 2015

Skead Road: Asphalt work will take place on Skead Road from Falconbridge Highway to Old Stead Road North from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24.
Ellen Street: Crews will begin restoration and concrete work, remaining pipe work, and the raising of structures in the roadway on Ellen Street between Laurier Street and St. Agnes Street in preparation for paving operations. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, April 27 and is expected to be completed by June 2015.
Traffic will be directed by traffic control persons alternating traffic flow when required throughout the project.
Jean Street: Water main, sanitary, storm sewer and road improvements are set to begin on Jean Street between the east side of Frood Road and Eva Street starting Thursday, April 23. Work will start with excavation on Jean Street at the Frood Road end and work easterly towards Eva Street.
Jean Street will be closed, except for local traffic and emergency vehicles, between the east side of Frood Road and west side of Burton Avenue from April 23 until Mid June 2015.
Frood Road: Restoration work in preparation for paving will start Monday, April 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Frood Road between Kathleen Street and Shevchenko Avenue. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Flag persons will be on site to control traffic in alternating directions should a lane need to be closed.
Work is expected to be completed by mid July 2015.
Notre Dame Ave and Ste. Anne Road: Fire hydrant repair work will begin Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. until Thursday, April 23 at 6 a.m. on Notre Dame Avenue heading south in front of the apartment complex at 250 Ste. Anne Road.. A secondary entrance to the complex can be used to access the building.
Barry Downe Road: Excavation work for testing purposes on Barry Downe Road between Westmount Avenue and Kingsway will take place Friday, April 24 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions.
