Residents Encouraged to Submit Applications to Greater Sudbury Advisory Panels

The City of Greater Sudbury encourages residents to play an active role in their community by providing broad policy advice and information about future trends to City Council as a volunteer member of a municipal Advisory Panel.

Applications are invited for appointment to the following: Accessibility Advisory Panel, Bell Park Advisory Panel, Greater Sudbury New Downtown Market Working Group, Lakes (Watershed) Advisory Panel, Municipal Heritage Advisory Panel, Seniors’ Advisory Panel, and Solid Waste Advisory Panel.

Deadline to apply is Friday, September 4, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. Information and application forms are available at Greater Sudbury Public Libraries, the Office of the City Clerk in Tom Davies Square and online at www.greatersudbury.ca/advisorypanels.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the City of Greater Sudbury, unless indicated otherwise. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group, knowledge of the issues addressed by the group, and commitment to attend regular meetings. Appointments are for a term ending November 30, 2018, unless otherwise noted.
