Pick up a Pair of Free Used Skates

Do you have skates that no longer fit, or aren’t being used? If yes, please donate them!  The Sudbury & District Health Unit in partnership with the City of Greater Sudbury are asking residents to donate your used skates!

 The Skate Exchange Program is still in need of skates for the next Skate Exchange which will take place on January 10, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lockerby Branch at 2200 Long Lake Road.  Residents do not need to donate skates in order to participate in the program.

Skates are given out on a first-come, first serve basis, and sizes and quantities will vary. If you want to drop off a pair of skates you are no longer using, skate collection bins can be found at the following locations:

Tom Davies Square (Citizen Service Centre),
Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury,
Sudbury & District Health Unit,
YMCA Sudbury, the Human League Association
