Mayor recognizes student business owners
Local student entrepreneurs successfully complete the 2015 Summer Company program

Mayor Brian Bigger will be on hand to recognize the determination and hard work of nine young entrepreneurs who started their very own business ventures during the summer break. The Mayor will speak about the program itself and the various businesses started by the students. There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews with the Mayor and students.

ABOUT SUMMER COMPANY 
Summer Company is an entrepreneurial program for secondary and post-secondary students in the Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin Island regions.  To participate in this program, students must develop a realistic and comprehensive business plan. The program provides students with grants of up to $3,000 to assist with business start-up costs.  Summer Company provides practical experience along with business coaching and mentoring from local business leaders.
