May 14, 2015

The City of Greater Sudbury is improving its commitment to transparency and access to information by changing the timelines associated with the release of Council and Committee agendas. Due to the Victoria Day holiday, the new timeline will begin on Tuesday, May 19, with release of the agenda for the Tuesday, May 26 meeting of Greater Sudbury Council.

Agendas for meetings of Greater Sudbury Council and Committees will be released seven days prior to a meeting date, as opposed to three days in previous practice. Agendas will be posted on the Monday prior to the week of a scheduled Tuesday meeting at agendasonline.greatersudbury.ca

Planning Committee agendas will continue to be released 10 days prior to public meetings.

Councillors will receive agenda packages 13 days in advance of a meeting, to provide time for review and reflection prior to public release.

Citizens who cannot access agendas and minutes online are asked to contact the Office of the City Clerk for assistance at 705-674-4455, ext. 4209, Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
