City Seeks Musical Entertainers for Bell Park Concert Series

Mar 26, 2015

Local musical entertainers are invited to apply for an opportunity to perform during the annual Bell Park Concert Series. The series runs from June to August, with concerts taking place on Sunday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Priority will be given to entertainers who meet the following criteria:

•    Entertainment is appropriate for family audiences
•    Entertainment demonstrates collaboration amongst artists and individuals within the same area of performances
•    Performances  present minimal logistical requirements, ensuring the concerts can remain a free event for the community
•    Entertainers are representative of the diversity and culture of the City of Greater Sudbury.

Concerts are held at one of the three locations within Bell Park: the William Bell Gazebo, the Katherine Bell Gazebo or the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The venue selection is determined by the City based on criteria including: size of performing group, expected attendance, technical requirements, and the availability of locations.

Performing groups will receive a small honorarium as compensation.
