Lifeguards will begin patrolling City beaches starting Saturday, June 20. City of Greater Sudbury lifeguards are on duty seven days a week, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the following municipal beaches

The Greater Sudbury Development Corporation (GSDC) Board held its annual general meeting on June 10, 2015. Dr. Darren Stinson, Chelmsford Animal Hospital, was reinstated as chair for a third term, while Wendy Watson of Greater Sudbury Utilities, and Paul Kusnierczyk of Royal LePage North Heritage Realty, will return for their second three-year terms.

Greater Sudbury Transit is extending service to include stops at St. Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford and the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
