Recycling Centre Closed Until Further Notice

Due to an early morning fire, the City’s Recycling Centre located at 1825 Frobisher Street, in Sudbury, will be closed until further notice. 

Curb side recycling pick-up is currently not affected and will continue as scheduled. 

Residents are advised there will be no service at the Recycling Centre. This includes those wishing to pick up or purchase Blue Boxes, Green Carts, Big Blue’s, and Backyard Composters. Residents may still call in to request Blue Boxes to be delivered to your home.

Big Blue’s and Green Carts will remain available for purchase at local Citizen Service Centres.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services remains on site. Fire Services has advised of severe smoke damage to the Recycling Centre and adjacent offices. The cause of the fire is not suspicious in nature. Damage is still being assessed.
