City Invites Feedback on Community Engagement

Jun 2, 2014

The City of Greater Sudbury invites residents to participate in a survey seeking to understand how citizens wish to engage with their municipal government.

“Engagement in municipal government can take many forms, and we want to make sure we’re doing it right,” said Doug Nadorozny, Chief Administrative Officer for the City. “Ultimately, a healthy community is one where residents and public servants work together to create a city which is a reflection of all our voices. This survey is part of the process we’re using to make sure we’re communicating with residents in ways and on issues that matter to them.”

The survey is part of a review of the City’s community engagement strategies. The outcomes of the review will be presented to Council during the summer.

The survey is available online at www.greatersudbury.ca/surveys. Copies of the survey will also be available at Citizen Service Centres and at all branches of the Greater Sudbury Public Library, starting tomorrow. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday, June 16, 2014.
