Location of Place des Arts

Place des Arts will be located on the block formed by Elgin Street, Larch Street and Medina Lane in downtown Sudbury, currently a municipal parking lot.

The site location decision followed a standardized site selection process that included the consideration of many other potential sites in the city.

The site was recommended and offered by the City of Greater Sudbury, and after feasibility studies, it was selected by consensus as the future site of Place des Arts.

The chosen site was the one that best aligned with the needs of the project and Greater Sudbury’s development.
