Cancellations and Refunds for All Leisure Programs
- The City of Greater Sudbury reserves the right to cancel programs at any time.
- If a program is cancelled, registrants are eligible for a full refund or a transfer of paid funds to another program of their choice.
- If program activities are significantly different from those described during registration, registrants are eligible for a full refund at the start of the program.
- If a registrant must withdraw from a program for medical reasons, either a full or prorated refund, minus an administrative fee of $16.50, will be provided upon approval of the City of Greater Sudbury. A medical certificate may be requested. Cancellation request must be made in writing.
- If participants wish to transfer to another program, the City of Greater Sudbury will refund the difference of the program cost, if applicable, minus an administrative fee of $8, upon approval. Request must be made in writing.
- Advising an instructor, facility staff member or not attending classes is not considered notice of program withdrawal. Notice must be made in writing.
- The effective date of refund is the date that notice is provided in writing to the City of Greater Sudbury, regardless of the date the participant stopped attending class.
- In the event a registrant is unable to attend a scheduled class, make up classes, refunds or credits for missed classes will not be provided.
- Refunds are issued only to the original payee. Notice of withdrawal must be made in writing by original payee.
- Materials purchased for scheduled programs are not eligible for refund.
