Taekwondo: Junior

Ages 6 to 9

Students will learn the basics of Taekwondo and improve their discipline, control, physical fitness, co-ordination and self-confidence.

Taekwondo: Junior +

Ages 10-14

This program places special emphasis on consolidating and refining the basic Taekwondo skills. Students will continue to develop their motor skills, agility, balance, coordination, rhythm, time/space orientation, speed and dexterity as well as hand-eye coordination.

Taekwondo: Teens and Adults   

Ages 13 and up

This program is designed to allow the participants to acquire, consolidate and refine their Taekwondo skills through a variety of taekwondo activities. The objective is to encourage autonomy over learning and provide opportunities to learn new skills independently and in group settings.

Minnow Lake Place

Taekwondo FUNdamentals  

Age 7 to 13 (White belt-to-Green stripe)

This program is designed to improve co-ordination and physical fitness while teaching students the art of self-defence. During their training, students will learn to live by the tenets of Taekwondo, which include: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.

Taekwondo Learn to Train

Age 7 to 13; Participants must have a Green Belt or above.

Taekwondo Family Class 1 

Ages 7+; All belts are welcome.

This program is designed to allow families an opportunity to engage in physical activity to increase their physical fitness and work together to achieve their own personal goals in a structured, safe and non-threatening environment. This program’s focus is on developing the participant’s motor skills, as well as refining and consolidating their Taekwondo skills through a variety of activities.

Taekwondo Family Class 2 

Ages 13+; All belts are welcome.

This program is designed to allow families an opportunity to engage in physical activity to increase their physical fitness and work together to achieve their own personal goals in a structured, safe and non-threatening environment. This program’s focus is on developing the participant’s motor skills, as well as refining and consolidating their Taekwondo skills through a variety of activities.
