The Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, located in Bell Park near the shores of Ramsey Lake, is the ideal location for your next special event, fundraiser, concert or celebration.
The capacity of the Amphitheater bowl is 1,963 people. It features fixed seating for 563 people and a grass area that can hold 1,400 people. Accessible seating is also available in section 2, row M. Chairs can be provided for companions who do not require mobility aid.
The grass area includes a sound booth for events that require amplified noise. When using the booth, our sound technician must be on-site to supervise.
Our stage features an intricate lighting and sound system that our Sound Technician can operate at your request. If you choose to bring in your personal sound equipment, we have a loading dock to facilitate its unloading. Stairs can be attached in the middle of the main stage upon request.
There is plenty of space for vendors behind the building, as well as access to water and electricity.
Along the back of the building is an accessibility ramp.
Around the corner is a water fountain/water bottle filling station as well as public washroom facilities and staff change rooms. Both rooms feature a couch, table and refrigerator. Each room has a connected washroom with a toilet, sinks and showers.
Inside the public washrooms, is an automated teller machine (ATM).
Inside the building is a special events office and an accessible washroom for event organizers, staff and volunteers. This washroom may also be used by individuals with accessibility needs.
Included with the Grace Hartman Amphitheater rental is access to a private road for set up and take down. The private road can be accessed from the gate located off Paris Street.
