|As of Friday, July 16, Greater Sudbury will enter step three of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The roadmap outlines a three-step plan to safely and gradually ease public health measures and reopen the province.
Seven municipal beaches are open with lifeguard supervision from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The 2019 spring phosphorus value for Ironside Lake is 6.8 µg/L The average total spring phosphorus for Ironside Lake since 2001 is 6.0 µg/L which is well below the Provincial Water Quality Objective of 20.0 µg/L and indicates that this lake is likely oligotrophic.
