Alice Lake

COVID-19 Update – July 16, 2021

As of Friday, July 16, Greater Sudbury will enter step three of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen. The roadmap outlines a three-step plan to safely and gradually ease public health measures and reopen the province.

Seven municipal beaches are open with lifeguard supervision from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Alice Lake has no permanent or seasonal/recreational residents.

Location & Lake Characteristics
Alice Lake is located in Neelon township. Alice Lake is 26.7 hectares in size with a shoreline perimeter of 5.3 kilometers. The lake has a maximum depth of 12 metres. View maps of Alice Lake.

Watershed Information
Alice Lake is located in the East Wanapitei River Watershed.  The lake is fed by a stream entering from Baby Lake. The drainage basin for Alice Lake is 316 ha. For more information on the watershed, please click on the following Watershed Map link.
