Water Main Repair Times

If the water main break is severe and there is a risk of contamination then we report it to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. Severe breaks may take longer to fix because there is additional testing that has to be done.

Some water main breaks may take longer to repair depending on materials needed to fix it, where the water main is located, how hard it is to get to, and if it is in a high-traffic area.
