Why doesn't the City of Greater Sudbury have complete information regarding service line materials?

Due to the nature and history of our records at the City, there is not a complete inventory of private service line material. Such information is found using as-built building design records, or through investigations of work order and service connections, capital projects and additional internal and public participation. We are continuously working towards gathering up to date information on the public and private service connection material.
