Where to Get Water When Your Pipes are Frozen

You can get clean city water at any water filling station location. You will need to bring your own containers.

In some cases, we will install a temporary service connection to provide non-drinkable water to your home. The temporary “bib” system connects a hose that is specially designed to carry water to an outdoor water faucet. This system is usually used only when frozen pipes cannot be thawed successfully in a timely fashion, and is free of charge if it is recommended by the City.

If the City is not recommending a temporary bib system but you would like one set up, you may request this service for a fee.
