Dowling Well

Using a well pump, the community of Dowling draws its drinking water from an unconfined aquifer of sand and gravel deposits located within the Onaping river watershed. Before it is distributed for consumption, water is disinfected using chlorine gas, and UV irradiation. To promote oral health, fluoride is also added to water as is mandated by PHSD .
