School Crossing Guard Program
All designated community school crossing guard locations have a guard in place. If a guard is unable to be at a crossing due to unforeseen circumstances, and a location cannot be covered, City staff will notify the affected school(s) as soon as possible and request that they advise families through school communication portals.
School crossing guards are an important part of the community. These dedicated individuals work every school day to protect and assist children walking across the streets of Greater Sudbury.
