Construction Startup - July 31, 2026
Lively Infrastructure Improvements
The City of Greater Sudbury will complete road, stormwater, wastewater and water infrastructure improvements on Municipal Road 24 (MR 24) between Jacobson Drive and Anderson Drive, as well as storm sewer installation on Hill Road in Lively.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited, will begin in August 2026 and will be completed in phases over three construction seasons, with completion expected by August 2028.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. Weekend or overnight work may be required.

Construction Details:
- Installation of trunk sanitary sewer, trunk storm sewer, watermain, sidewalks and pedestrian crossover.
- Improvements to the multi-use path, street lighting and traffic signals.
- Road restoration and reconstruction.
