Hillcrest Drive Reconstruction
Construction Notice - March 24, 2025
The City of Greater Sudbury will be continuing road, storm and wastewater improvements on Hillcrest Drive between Brian and Jessie Streets in Lively.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Teranorth Construction & Engineering Ltd. will begin April, 2025, and is expected to be completed by October, 2025.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. Weekend or night work may be required.

Project Highlights:
Brian Street to Mikkola Road:
• Reconstruction and asphalt rehabilitation of Hillcrest Drive
• Active transportation improvements will include sidewalk installation on the north side (even numbered addresses) and in bike lanes on both sides
• Traffic-calming measures*
• Storm sewer and drainage improvements
• Sanitary sewer improvements
