Season Start-up Notice - May 8, 2024
Pavement Rehabilitation & Active Transportation Improvements
The City of Greater Sudbury will be continuing road improvements on Walford Road, between Regent and Paris Streets, in Sudbury.
Construction by the City’s Contractor, Teranorth Construction & Engineering Ltd., will begin May, 2024 and is expected to be completed August 2024.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday.
Final asphalt will be completed in summer 2024.

Current Construction Details:
- Storm and drainage improvements.
- Replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk
- Active transportation improvements (introduction of “off road” cycle tracks)
- Full-depth asphalt removal
- Supply and placement of hot mix asphalt
- Driveway/Entrance restoration
