Season Wrap Up- December 14, 2023
Watermain Replacement and Pavement Rehabilitation
The City of Greater Sudbury has completed the road and water/wastewater improvementson Sparks Street, between Roy Avenue and Barry Downe Road, Sudbury for the 2023 construction season.
Construction will resume in the spring and is expected to be completed in the summer 2024.
A Construction Notice will be issued before the beginning of the construction season next year.

Current Construction Details:
- Surface asphalt placement
- Permanent line painting
- Miscellaneous repairs if required
Project Highlights:
- Watermain replacement
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Paved shoulder on the north side
- Traffic calming with the addition of speed humps
- Ditching and drainage improvements
- Surface asphalt to be placed in 2024
