Construction Notice- June 16, 2023
Culvert Replacement
The City of Greater Sudbury continued road improvements and culvert replacement on Notre Dame East, between Landry and Swedlund Streets, in Azilda.
The Culvert Replacement had been planned for construction in August 2021, and the Summer of 2022. Start of the work was delayed until the Summer of 2023 due to scheduling for relocating overhead and underground utilities, and environmental restrictions on timing of in-water work.
Construction by the City’s Contractor, Denis Gratton Construction Limited began mid-July 2023 and was expected to be completed by October 2023.
Final asphalt was completed in 2023.
