Coniston Watermain Upgrades
Construction Update- July 22, 2024
The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing watermain upgrades on Edward Avenue from Smelter Road to Stanley Street and along the laneway running from Stanley Street to Allan Street, in Coniston.
Construction by the City’s contractor, Bélanger Construction (1981) Inc., will begin July 22, 2024 and is expected to be completed in November, 2024.
Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday.

- Single lane traffic on Walter and Allan Streets.
- Road resurfacing in some locations.
- Watermain upgrades on Walter and Allan Streets.
- Upgrade watermain services between Walter and Allan Streets.
