Peer Support North
Peer Support North (formerly NISA) is a peer-led organization offering a range of programs and support for individuals on their mental health and substance use health journeys. Programs include WRAP for Healthy Aging (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), support and skills groups, recreational activities and other resources.
Programs are led by trained Peer Support Workers with lived experience and are designed to help participants build personal wellness plans, strengthen self-awareness and develop practical tools to support ongoing wellness.

Before participating in programs or drop-in activities, individuals are asked to complete a brief welcome meeting. This short conversation provides an opportunity to learn more about each participant, answer questions and connect them with the programs and supports that best meet their needs.
