The triplex next door already has garbage problems and this will just make it worse!
Residential and non-residential roadside waste collection services will be rescheduled. Please do not place garbage, green carts or blue boxes at the roadside, as this may impact road clearing efforts. Alternate pickup dates will be communicated once available. We will provide an update once bulky item collection service has been restored.
Due to the winter storm event, furniture, appliance and electronic collection services are also temporarily suspended. Please do not place these items at the roadside, in laneways or on top of snowbanks, as they may impact snow clearing operations.
New Green Cart requests have also been suspended.
All landfill sites and the Recycling Centre are closed.
We understand that looking at the garbage mess next door is frustrating and we’ll be paying particular attention to problematic properties. This will include educational resources and enforcement techniques. If you’re concerned with a particular property or illegal dumping, please call City Services at 311.
