I own a business and have a large bin for our garbage. People are dumping their garbage in my bin and causing a mess on my property.
Residential and non-residential roadside waste collection services will be rescheduled. Please do not place garbage, green carts or blue boxes at the roadside, as this may impact road clearing efforts. Alternate pickup dates will be communicated once available. We will provide an update once bulky item collection service has been restored.
Due to the winter storm event, furniture, appliance and electronic collection services are also temporarily suspended. Please do not place these items at the roadside, in laneways or on top of snowbanks, as they may impact snow clearing operations.
New Green Cart requests have also been suspended.
All landfill sites and the Recycling Centre are closed.
Private waste haulers who provide commercial garbage bins have a variety of solutions available to keep bins secure. Please contact your service provider for further information to find the solution that will work for you.
