How can I exchange my broken Green Cart?
Residential and non-residential roadside waste collection services will be rescheduled. Please do not place garbage, green carts or blue boxes at the roadside, as this may impact road clearing efforts. Alternate pickup dates will be communicated once available. We will provide an update once bulky item collection service has been restored.
Due to the winter storm event, furniture, appliance and electronic collection services are also temporarily suspended. Please do not place these items at the roadside, in laneways or on top of snowbanks, as they may impact snow clearing operations.
New Green Cart requests have also been suspended.
All landfill sites and the Recycling Centre are closed.
You can get a replacement Green Cart by placing a home delivery order through the Greater Sudbury Waste Wise app, the Waste Wise online tool or by calling City Services at 311 (delivery can take up to two weeks). Once you receive your new Green Cart, you can place your broken Green Cart at the roadside on your regularly scheduled collection day with a note "please collect broken cart". The recycling truck will then collect it.
