Art Gallery of Sudbury

The Art Gallery is sharing works of art, articles and online exhibitions on their Facebook page.

In addition, during these uncertain times, the Art Gallery of Sudbury has decided to share mini art lessons for ages 5-12 created by our education coordinator Sarah Blondin. They will be sharing 2 videos per week (one in English and one in French). Keep checking in every week for updated content! Let's get creative!

You can also access the mini art lessons on the Art Gallery's YouTube channel, Animation Art Sudbury.

Gallery 6500

Gallery 6500 is seeking children's art to be displayed on the Gallery 6500 virtual gallery wall.

Children should be encouraged to use whatever medium they wish to express their feelings: pencil, clay, paint, crayons, mixed-medium, play-doh, etc.

Artists should be between the ages of six and 16. The age and first name only of the artist should be submitted with the piece.

All submissions will be displayed on the Gallery 6500 Wall and on Instagram. Digital images should be sent to Jo-Anne Marshall, jo.mac@eastlink.ca.

Gallery 6500 was launched in 2015 by the Sudbury Arts Council and is located in Steelworkers Hall and Conference Centre at 66 Brady St.

Myths and Mirrors: She is Awakening

As the world slows and quiets during this time of physical distancing, we’re able to listen more intently. Step outside and into nature – what do you hear?

Myths and Mirrors, in partnership with Coalition for a Livable Sudbury and artists EMILIO PORTAL, WILL MORIN, and DARLENE, invite you to take part in a virtual art project exploring art, sound, and collaborative creation as we celebrate Mother Earth and the changing of the seasons.

Visit the Facebook event page for more information.
