Final Inspections - Closing Your Permit

All building permits require a final inspection to complete and close the building permit. It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure all building permits are completed and closed. 

 

Have an open permit on your property and are looking to close out the permit file?  We are here to help!  All building permits require a final inspection to complete and close the building permit. and it is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure all building permits are completed and closed. By closing your permits, you are ensuring clear title and avoiding future delays when it comes time to sell your property 

 

  • Login to Pronto (an account is required)
  • Navigate to 'Building' and select 'Inspection Requests'
  • Provide:
    • Name and phone number of onsite contact
    • Requester's email address (to receive a confirmation email)
    • Permit number(s)
    • Type of inspection(s) being requested
    • Include any additional information in the comments box (i.e., morning or afternoon preference)

Each of the items noted above is required to schedule an inspection. If any of the information is missing, the inspection will not be scheduled. Please contact 311 or Building Services at extension 4278 if you require assistance.
