Development Dashboard
Interactive dashboards are available to explore data related to residential development and community demographics.
- Development Dashboard: Provides an overview of residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional development across the city (2017–present).
- Demographic Dashboard: Offers population and demographic insights based on Census data (2016 and 2021).
Municipal Planning Data (O. Reg. 73/23)
The Ontario government implemented the Municipal Planning Data Reporting Regulation - Ontario Regulation 73/23, which requires municipalities that received housing targets to report information on planning matters to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH). This regulation provides MMAH with data that can be used to measure progress towards various provincial Housing Supply Action Plan commitments, and to support informed, evidence-based decisions around housing and planning policy.
