Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is Canada’s national housing agency.  CMHC has a number of funding programs to create or improve rental units.

The Canada Secondary Suite Loan Program offers loans of up to $80,000 for homeowners to create a secondary suite (additional dwelling unit) to increase density in our communities.
