Election Compliance Audit Committee Seeking Applicants

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking individuals to serve on the Election Compliance Audit Committee. The committee is responsible for reviewing applications for compliance audits related to municipal and school board elections. 

The City is looking for individuals who have: 

•    Experience in receiving and understanding financial information, preferably with knowledge of municipal election campaign financing rules
•    Experience in a profession with enforceable professional standards
•    Proven analytical and decision-making skills
•    Experience working on a committee, task force, tribunal, disciplinary panel or similar body
•    Excellent written and oral communications skills.

A per diem of $300 will be paid for attendance at each meeting. Meetings are held during business hours with the number and duration of meetings dependent upon the nature of the audit requests received. The term of the Election Compliance Audit Committee is from November 15, 2026, to November 14, 2030.
