City of Greater Sudbury Honours its Volunteers
Apr 21, 2026
The City of Greater Sudbury honoured community volunteers during last night’s Civic Awards ceremony at the Dowling Leisure Centre.
The Civic Awards are presented to individuals and groups who consistently give back to the community. These awards recognize leadership, humanitarian service and the enrichment of the human spirit through volunteerism and community involvement.
“Our community is strengthened every day by the people who choose to give their time, their talent and their heart,” said Greater Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre. “The Civic Awards celebrate those who lift others up and help shape a city we can all be proud of.
