2026 Civic Holiday Municipal Service Schedule

Several municipal services will be closed to the public for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 3, 2026:
•    Tom Davies Square
•    Greater Sudbury Public Library branches (including Citizen Service Centres)
•    Municipal pools and fitness facilities
•    Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter
•    Landfill and waste transfer sites
 
Waste Services
The Recycling Centre will be open. Residential waste collection will not be affected.
 
GOVA Transit
GOVA routes will follow holiday service schedules.
 
311 Services
311 will be available for urgent calls only. The 311 live web chat and email are not answered outside of regular business hours. Register to submit service requests at any time on the customer service portal at 311.greatersudbury.ca or email 311@greatersudbury.ca.
