City Looking for Feedback to Develop Updated Sustainable Waste Strategy

The City of Greater Sudbury is developing an updated Sustainable Waste Strategy to guide how the community will manage waste for the next 10 years.

The goal of this strategy is to improve waste management programs and services to make the City more sustainable. This is important to help optimize landfill space, achieve climate change goals, divert and reduce waste, improve convenience and operate cost effectively.

We are asking for feedback on the strategy’s draft vision statement, guiding principles and evaluation criteria. To share your input, visit our website before June 11, 2023, and complete a public survey. This will take approximately 10 minutes.
