Public Input Sessions for Library/Art Gallery and Greater Sudbury Convention and Performance Centre

Residents are invited to attend public input sessions to share their ideas and vision for the integrated site plan of the proposed Library/Art Gallery and Convention and Performance Centre.  The two projects will be located on the site of the current Sudbury Community Arena, and will be known as the Junction.  

A kick off open house launch will take place on Monday, April 16 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the McEwen School of Architecture, located at 85 Elm St.  Residents are encouraged to drop-in anytime during the session to share their ideas for the future site of the Library/Art gallery and CGS Convention and Performance Centre (The Junction). Representatives from the City of Greater Sudbury, and key partners will be in attendance to provide information and answer questions.

In addition to the kick off open house, residents can drop-in at any of the following locations between April 17 and April 27.

Residents may also provide ideas online beginning on Monday, April 16 by signing up on Over To You Greater Sudbury, the City’s public engagement platform found at https://overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca/. Once signed up, click on The Junction icon. 

The Junction public input sessions are a key step in the development of an integrated site plan for the projects.  Concepts for the site plan will be brought forward for additional public comment in June.
