Traffic Update- Second Avenue (Minnow Lake) Logan Avenue, 2nd Avenue (Coniston)

Logan Avenue, Sudbury- Paving operations will close the intersection of Logan Avenue at Lorne Street on Friday, September 22. Motorists will be required to use Dean Avenue and Quinn Street as alternate routes, Work will be done from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Second Avenue, Sudbury- Continued water main and storm sewer improvements will close Second Avenue in Minnow Lake, between Camelot Drive and Hebert Street on Friday, September 22 to Friday, September 29. Northbound traffic will be detoured through Hebert Street, or Third Avenue, while southbound traffic will be routed left onto Scarlett Road. One lane of traffic will be maintained for local traffic and emergency service vehicles. As an additional safety measure speed bumps have been installed along Third Avenue and Highgate Road.

2nd Avenue, Coniston ( Extension)- A water main replacement will close a section of 2nd Avenue between Balsam Street and Poplar Street on Friday, September 22 to Friday, October 6. Traffic will be re-routed around the work area on 2nd Avenue via Balsam Street, Third Avenue and Poplar Street.
