Members of the media are invited to the Sudbury Wolves Game to join Mayor Brian Bigger, Chief Trevor Bain and members of Greater Sudbury Fire Services to officially launch Fire Prevention Week in Greater Sudbury from October 4 to 10, 2015.

Mayor Brian Bigger will deliver the proclamation to kick- off the week immediately before the game.

This year’s theme is “Hear the beep, where you sleep: every bedroom should have a working smoke alarm.” It is important that everyone practices a home fire escape plan and to ensure all smoke alarms in the house are working.

Members of the media are asked to RSVP Curtis Hall at marketing@sudburywolves.com if you plan to attend. Media are also invited to stay after the proclamation is read to enjoy the hockey game.
