Step 4: Following the Elections

The campaign period ends Thursday, December 31, 2026. Registrants may request an extension of the campaign period to eliminate a deficit by submitting the prescribed Notice of Extension form with the City Clerk on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026.

Those who have campaigned as a third party are required to file a complete and accurate financial statement, as per the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, by the deadline.
