Speak Before Council

A Community Delegation is any citizen or group of citizens who represent a recognized community group or organization who wish to make a presentation at a meeting to address existing or proposed municipal policies or initiatives.

Community Delegations are usually heard by a Committee of Council. Requests from Community Delegations that have a budget impact not included in the current year’s budget should speak to a Member of Council who may request by Motion that a business case for funding be prepared by staff for the following year’s budget process.
