Duties will include planting multi-pot seedlings at various locations (remote and urban), digging up and transplanting forest floor vegetation, shoveling, bagging and manually hauling agricultural limestone to reclamation sites and spreading it by hand, loading and unloading vehicles with vegetation and bagged lime.
- Must be able to handle loads of greater than 20 kg while walking long distances over rough terrain.
- Must be able and willing to be outdoors (in the bush) all day, in all weather conditions.
- Studying ecology, restoration, forestry, fish and wildlife, biology or similar field is preferred.
